Historic and Legacy Data on Snakes

Dr. Henry S. Fitch began his pioneering research on the snake fauna of the Fitch Natural History Reservation in 1948; these data span more than 50 years. The Kansas Biological Survey, with Dr. Fitch's cooperation and encouragement, is converting his data and field notes from original hard-copy materials to an electronic format. For an update on the project, please contact George Pisani at the Kansas Biological Survey.
